Ride Avenue Pre School is an Incorporated Association with established shared values that reflect the service context and professionalism. Rules, roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, and understood, and support effective decision-making and operation of the service.

Ride Avenue Pre School has a governing document called a 'constitution'. The current constitution was adopted in 2022 and sets out the roadmap for how the association will operate. It is a legal requirement that the organisation and its members follow the rules of the constitution.

Strategic Plan

In 2022 the committee redeveloped the overall strategic goals of the service, based on the service’s mission, values and constitution, and within the framework of agreed responsibilities and functions.

This strategic plan is an effective way of visualising the future of Ride Avenue Pre School and planning for how we can reach this goal. It is a documents for the committee, staff, current and prospective families and community and ensures our whole community knows:

*where the service is going

* what is needs to do to get there

*how it is progressing along the way

*how, and to what the service will be held accountable
